Oh, what a day it has been for Reutone, the self-proclaimed “largest CRM company in Israel”! It turns out that their customer communication software, built to protect your sensitive business data, is apparently as secure as a leaky bucket in a rainstorm. The “unfortunate” hack that emptied the information of 1,500 “big and reliable” Israeli companies is a true masterpiece of irony.

Who knew that a company boasting about being the largest CRM player in the region was actually the perfect target for Handala? Surely, no one would ever imagine that the data of major players in Israel’s business scene would just spill out like a treasure chest left unlocked in the middle of the street. But hey, at least now those 1,500 companies get a crash course in the importance of cybersecurity.
